Stanek, Sheriff of Hennepin County, has decided to send frontline reinforcements to brutally repress protestors at Standing Rock.

Make no mistake: the police were created in order to serve and protect the wealthy, not to protect our communities. Their purpose is to use violence and surveillance to neuter mass movements to guarantee corporate profits. This is what they were created to do, even if it means poisoning our own children.

We must fight police militarization at every level, retaliate against their monopoly of violence, oppose their attempts of uniting their forces, become independent of them entirely, and protect each other from police repression.
